SARAH R. HOODSPITH
With over 12 years of experience in marketing and communications, Sarah R. Hoodspith has established herself as an expert to be reckoned with. Throughout her diverse career she has excelled in nearly all aspects of MARCOM – branding, public and investor relations, print production, art direction and event management.
Her career began in the high-tech industry working in marketing, communications and design for an international software company. Within a year she was negotiating international resellers’ agreements and managing the marketing department. She moved on to a financial communications agency where she led media and investor relations, event planning, corporate communications and competitive analysis for more than 10 publicly traded companies in a variety of industries. Falling in love with the fast-paced agency environment, she took on the challenge of managing an emerging graphic design firm where she aided in the strategic growth of the company.
After joining Zenergy Communications in 2003, Sarah has become an integral part of the company’s growth. Her current responsibilities include architecting integrated campaigns, developing social media campaigns, business development and expanding Zenergy’s service offerings.
Sarah holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing and Human Resources, from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. She frequently lectures about new branding initiatives and client engagement via social media, sits on the marketing committees of Le Conseil de développement bioalimentaire de Lanaudière and Tourisme Lanaudière, is a member of the organizing committees for Les Péchés Mignons de Lanoraie and Le marché de la place publique in Lavaltrie and volunteers her time for numerous charities.
